ab 1990 - Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen sowie Teilnahme an Künstlersymposien in Österreich, Slovenien, Italien, Ungarn, Kroatien, Indien und in Polen

1998 - 2012 Galerie EIGENART in Tieschen - Organisation von Workshops, Symposien und Ausstellungen in Österreich und Italien

2002 - 2017 Projektwochen in Schulen und Kindergärten zum Thema Erde.Feuer.Wasser.Luft

2013/ 2015/ 2017 - Idee & Organisation “Kunstaugust” im steirischen Vulkanland

2009 - bis heute - Lehrauftrag für Freies Malen an der Reha Klinik in Bad Radkersburg

ABOUT ME

Since I can remember painting is my passion.

I startet my education in art in the 80th and early 90th at different summer academies in Austria (Neumarkt, Graz, Wien and Salzburg). I am not only interested in a single technique - I love to play and experience with the difference of expressing - with different materials and tools. In this individuality I can see my place in the big picture. Catching the moment and bringing it on canvas, paper or a wooden piece. Sometimes I use lines running through the painting - meeting each other - separating again - staying side by side - in a playful way.

I mix the techniques - working with (natural)pigments, with different glue, with acrylic, oil, different crayons, with carbon and watercolor - sometimes I also use wax and bitumen. My studio looks more like a lab. And I really love using old paper or painting over an old picture. So maybe you see something old on the backside of the artwork, what comes from an other century.

I live and work in Tieschen, a small (wine)village in the southern part of Styria, very close to the Slovenian border.
